The Northeastern Regional Health Fund grant application is currently closed.
The Northeastern Regional Health Fund was established to support organizations doing health-related work in the counties of San Miguel, Mora, Guadalupe, Colfax, Harding, Union, and Quay. The fund awards grants to groups that work to improve the health and well-being of community members by providing access to healthcare services (including mental health) or health awareness and/or education programs in the seven counties.
In 2024, New Mexico Foundation awarded grants to the following organizations:
The Birthing Tree – $5,000
For their doula project in San Miguel and Mora counties.
Collins Lake Autism Center – $5,000
To support the organization’s therapy center program, which provides therapeutic services to residential clients. Collins Lake Autism Center is in Mora County and provides adults with autism and developmental disabilities outdoor recreation opportunities, residential supported living, and other social programs.
Youth Heartline – $5,000
For Youth Heartline Raton to support youth in the New Mexico Eighth Judicial District through their Court Appointed Special Advocates Program, Safe Exchange and Supervised Visitation services, and local advocacy programs supporting victims of crime and their non-offending relatives.
