The Northeastern Regional Health Fund is accepting applications.
2025 GRANT FOCUS
The Northeastern Regional Health Fund supports organizations that work to improve the health and well-being of community members living in these seven counties: San Miguel, Mora, Guadalupe, Colfax, Harding, Union and Quay. Priority will be given to organizations providing support in the following areas of community health: food security; access to healthcare, including mental health; and health awareness/education services. Organizations may apply for program support or general operating support.
GRANT AMOUNT: Up to $5,000
TIMELINE
- Application Opens: November 12, 2025
- Application Deadline: 5 p.m., December 3, 2025
- Grants Announced: mid-December, 2025
- Grant Period: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

In 2024, New Mexico Foundation awarded grants to the following organizations:
The Birthing Tree – $5,000
For their doula project in San Miguel and Mora counties.
Collins Lake Autism Center – $5,000
To support the organization’s therapy center program, which provides therapeutic services to residential clients. Collins Lake Autism Center is in Mora County and provides adults with autism and developmental disabilities outdoor recreation opportunities, residential supported living, and other social programs.
Youth Heartline – $5,000
For Youth Heartline Raton to support youth in the New Mexico Eighth Judicial District through their Court Appointed Special Advocates Program, Safe Exchange and Supervised Visitation services, and local advocacy programs supporting victims of crime and their non-offending relatives.
