| The Vecino Fund supported the Northern Diné COVID-19 Relief Effort with an emergency assistance grant to purchase healthy food, wood, livestock feed, sufficient water for drinking and frequent hand washing, water for livestock, propane refills and also payment for internet to assist families with home education for children. Grant assistance also helped pay for gas so that volunteers could make home deliveries to Navajo communities in the Shiprock chapter area of San Juan county. | “Thank you for the Vecino grant, we will definitely use the funds for the greatest possible impact. These items were distributed to families, seniors, adult individuals and children under 18 in May. |
